BioI'm a runner. Yes, I say that even though I haven't run regularly since July. I am taking a hiatus. I will be running by Thanksgiving. I'll need an excuse to eat all that lovely turkey, and stuffing, and pie, and other general thanksgiving goodness. But I feel that a 3 month break is well deserved after 8 years of competitive running. Oh my, it's really been 8 years. that's like 1/3 of my life!
So um yeah, aside from running....I am now in the real world, and aside from the whole getting up early for a 9-5 job, it's not so bad. I thought it would be horrible. It probably helps that I'm working in a research lab and I get to play with monkeys for 2 hours a day. Never thought I'd be doing that in a million years. It's pretty cool, except for the occuringtoofrequentlyformytaste monkey attacks. At least they haven't broken skin.....yet.
